Dear Readers:

On February 28, 2019, I had the tremendous honor of my investiture as the Venable, Baetjer & Howard Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Following a generous introduction by the Dean of the Law School, Donald Tobin, I gave a speech, the title of which is inspired by a wonderful Carly Simon song. The speech, which begins at the 7:55 mark, lasts about 48 minutes and covers a broad range of topics. Please note that you will need Adobe Flash to view the video. (For Mac users, this might require copying the link into a different browser than Safari, such as Google Chrome.)

I hope you enjoy, and as always, I welcome your comments.
