To borrow a Yiddishism, I'm Verklempt. Truly. I am so choked up. This has been a long time coming. I have little to add here other than feeling emotionally exhausted, and genuinely relieved.

This is only a first step, but what a step it is. The arc of progress doesn't always bend toward justice, but with all our help, and with endless dedication and caring, we can help it do so. Today we did.

It worked. And we should celebrate.
